Directions to CHAMP

at Good Hope Farm

Take 89 to Exit 17 (9.4 miles north of Burlington)

exit West (to Champlain Islands), merge on to US2 for 7.1 miles


turn left onto Landon Rd (towards Allenholm Farms) at 0.7 mile


turn left onto E. Shore Rd (portions unpaved) for 0.5 mile to  Good Hope Farm on your left.

The Spring Session
Mondays: April 5 - June 7

Volunteers needed 11 AM until 4

      No Monday classes on: April 26

                                               May 31 Memorial Day
Wednesdays: April 7 - June 2

Volunteers needed 11 AM until 4

     No Wednesday classes: April 28                                
Saturdays: April 3 - June 12 

Volunteers needed 9:30 AM until 4

      No Saturday classes on:

      April 17 We will be at the NARHA Regional Conference.
      April 24 Join us at Everything Equine
      May 29  Have a good Memorial Day


Volunteers may choose to do some or all of the dates above. Schedules are flexible, but we ask that you let us know as much in advance as possible when you will or will not be able to help.

Riding Creates!
CHAMP and VSAarts are again offering 2 weeks of

Riding Creates! Camp-
July 12-15 and August 9-12.
The two, four-day sessions will be 1:00-4:00 PM,

        Monday through Thursday.
Volunteers needed from 12:30 to approximately 4:30

Note: There are many volunteer opportunities around the barn. All who would like to volunteer are welcome, however NARHA regulations require that you must be 14 in order to work directly with the riders in the program. Applications are available go to download Forms or at CHAMP at Good Hope Farm. If you miss a training sessions we'll train you while you volunteer.

The Annual Benefit Trail Ride

Saturday, September 11, 2010
Beginning at 9 AM from CHAMP at Good Hope Farm,

        East Shore Road in scenic South Hero.
Registration forms are available here or at the Farm

Riders wanted for the ride and lots of Volunteers needed - we’ll need people to bring salads and deserts for lunch; provide hot dogs and hamburgers, sodas, juices, bottle water, help set up and clean up, shuttle riders back to the farm, hold horses at lunch, Join us - it is always a fun day!
